What is Bohol Directory?

Bohol Directory is a free service for posting free classified ads. If you have anything to sell, promote or if you are looking for something, you can post them in Bohol Directory. Bohol Directory is meant for residents of Bohol, Cebu and other places in the Philippines. Classified ads are a great way to promote your product, service or business on the Internet.

Is Bohol Directory free?

Of course. Posting an ad in Bohol Directory is 100% free, no strings attached. All you need is a valid e-mail address to verify your ad posting.

However, in the future, we might offer premium services for featured ads.

I can't post an ad!

If our system rejects your ad, it could be one or any of the following reasons:

  • You forgot to fill in the required details
  • The anti-spam captcha you entered is incorrect
  • You entered invalid HTML code in the ad description
  • You used words that are considered as "spam" (i.e. Vi*gra)

If you strongly feel that there is an error or bug in the system, kindly contact us and we will check it.

I've posted my ad but I can't see it!

You need to verify your ad posting. Check your e-mail inbox and look for the ad activation e-mail we sent you. Verification is necessary to stop spammers dead on their tracks.

If you think that there is something wrong (i.e. script errors, bugs, etc.), contact us and we will check it as soon as possible.

How can I post pictures?

You can include pictures in your ad through the image upload feature. Please don't insert external images through HTML tags on the description field, as our system will reject your ad.

How can I edit/delete my ads?

You can use the links in the ad activation e-mail we sent you, or just open your ad in the Bohol Directory website and enter your e-mail address in the "Remember email with links to edit and deactivate" form.

I've been scammed! What should I do?

Scammers and other shady personalities are always prowling free classified ads websites. It is impossible to catch all these scammers, but we are trying our best to get rid of these people and block them from using our site. Here are some tips to help you avoid scams:

  • Avoid scams by dealing locally or paying with PayPal.
  • Never pay with Western Union, Moneygram or other anonymous payment services.
  • Don't buy or sell outside of your country. Don't accept cashier check from outside your country.
  • If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
  • Make prudent research about the person or company in question.

Take note that this site is not involved in any transaction, and does not handle payments, shipping, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification".
